Athletes

This section is for athletes who are carded with the NZ Academy of Sport, and for those who want to know more about the Prime Minister’s Athlete Scholarship Programme, or other services and support the NZAS provides to athletes.

The New Zealand Academy of Sport is committed to nurturing and developing the talents of its carded athletes by providing facilities and comprehensive services and programmes to benefit each athlete in both their sporting and non-sporting lives.

The aim is to add value and offer 'stress free' solutions to the challenges facing world-class and developing athletes and coaches. High Performance athletes receive individual attention from world class scientists, practitioners, and experienced 'mentors' who understand the pressures facing high performance athletes.
